About The Position

As a Territory Manager, you will be part of a dedicated team based in Montreal, Quebec, reporting to the Director of Jackets. The role involves achieving revenue and standard margin objectives, presenting and implementing promotions and marketing programs, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new potential clients, and promoting the value proposition of our products. You will leverage product and market knowledge to provide comprehensive business solutions, collaborate effectively with distributors and end-user partners, and drive sales through end-user activities, commercial actions with distributors, product demonstrations, and end-user visits. The position requires designing and executing sell-in and sell-through promotional plans for key industrial and two-tier accounts, providing rolling 6-month sales and SKU forecasts, coordinating and participating in major trade shows, and managing activities within assigned commercial cooperation and travel & expenses (T&E) budgets. You will also provide marketing with feedback on competitor activities, manage end-user training on new products across the territory, drive sales growth with key distribution partners, write clear and effective written proposals, and determine strategic planning related to new product lines. Additionally, you will establish organizational policies and procedures related to sales, lead the sales team in developing relationships with business customers, manage sales contract negotiations, and obtain distributor inventory support to drive growth in served markets. Any other related task, as needed, will also be part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or a related field of study.
  • Over 3 years of experience in selling industrial tools and/or accessories, with a track record of demonstrated achievements.
  • Experience in conducting product training in the industrial and rental sectors.
  • Proficiency in SAP/BW and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team spirit and customer orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to take full responsibility for one's work, take necessary initiatives without being asked, and ensure rigorous follow-up.
  • Highly motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must demonstrate flexibility for occasional overnight travel.
  • Excellent time and territory management skills.

Responsibilities
