About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Salesperson (Territory Manager) to spearhead our business development efforts within a designated geographic area. This role is essential in expanding our market presence, building strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. As a key member of our sales team, you will leverage your expertise in outside sales, account management, and territory management to generate new leads, close deals, and foster long-term partnerships. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will help us achieve our growth objectives while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead negotiations, close deals, and develop strategic account plans
  • Familiarity with CRM software like Salesforce for lead generation, pipeline management, and customer relationship tracking
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and customer service interactions
  • Ability to perform cold calling and inside sales when necessary to supplement territory efforts
  • Demonstrated analytical skills to assess market data and identify growth opportunities

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of technology or industrial product sales is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target new business opportunities within your assigned territory
  • Conduct outside sales activities including cold calling, face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations, and networking events to generate leads and expand the customer base
  • Manage existing accounts by providing ongoing support, upselling additional products or services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Identify market trends and customer needs through analysis skills and market research to tailor sales strategies effectively
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track prospects, manage pipeline stages, and maintain detailed account records
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns and promotional activities to maximize outreach and brand awareness
