About The Position

Pape' Machinery, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a driven and competitive Territory Manager to join their sales team. This role offers a lucrative sales career with unlimited earning potential, focusing on selling construction equipment and leveraging technology to enhance customer efficiency and profitability. The position requires maintaining high market awareness and share within the assigned territory, utilizing the company's CRM (Salesforce) effectively, and completing monthly reporting. The Territory Manager will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers within their defined territory, driving a company sales vehicle.

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience.
  • Knowledge of construction or agricultural equipment.
  • Excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
  • Driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Must reside in your assigned territory.

Nice To Haves

  • Financing background preferred.
  • Experience operating equipment and heavy-duty pickup/trailer combination preferred.
  • Must have or obtain a commercial driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Selling all types of construction equipment.
  • Leveraging technology to provide customers efficiency and profit for their business.
  • Maintaining a high level of awareness, participation, and market share in your territory.
  • Utilizing the company’s CRM (Salesforce) at a high level.
  • Completing monthly reporting of wins/losses, participation/awareness, and timely expense submittals.
  • Creating relationships with new and current customers.
  • Driving in a Pape’ sales vehicle and working your defined territory.
  • Hauling equipment to customer sites for demo/delivery.
