About The Position

At Verrica Pharmaceuticals, we are passionate about developing and commercializing medications for the treatment of dermatological diseases, including skin cancers. Our lead product, YCANTH® (cantharidin), is the first and only healthcare professional-administered treatment approved by the FDA to treat patients two years of age and older with molluscum contagiosum – a common, highly contagious skin disease that effects an estimated six million people in the United States, primarily children. Verrica is also currently exploring a Phase 3 program to study its injectable oncolytic peptide, VP-315, for the treatment of basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer, and has initiated a global Phase 3 program to study VP-102 (YCANTH®) for the treatment of Common Warts. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, ideally in Business or Health Science related fields.
  • 4 Year degree required from an accredited university or college
  • 5 years relevant sales experience in the life sciences/biopharmaceutical space.
  • Knowledge of the Medical Dermatology or Pediatric market and successful track record of working in these spaces.
  • Successful experience working within institutions and large group practices.
  • Demonstrated ability in working the entire stakeholder within these settings.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in launching new brands in Dermatology or Pediatrics.
  • The ability to achieve sales results, development of KOL/customer relationships, experience and success in working across sales, market access and channel teams.
  • High agility in working in a fast-paced start up environment and the ability to adapt to business challenges as they arise.

Responsibilities

  • Drive results and excel in execution
  • Lead and ensure the successful launch of YCANTH.
  • Conduct in person visits/meetings/and communications with HCPs and other healthcare customers.
  • Work cross functionally with the Business Reimbursement Team as needed to ensure good HCP experience
  • Required to build and maintain highly professional relationships with key physicians and customers.
  • Provide information to field-based teams that impact their affiliated field base physicians
  • Agree to and follow all Company policy and procedures and essential requirements of the Position
