About The Position

GSK is looking to hire a Territory Manager to join our Respiratory Division. This role is field-based and reports directly to the Senior District Sales Manager. This position covers from southern Halifax along the South Shore to Yarmouth and Annapolis Valley. The ideal candidate will reside in or near the territory. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for managing a primary care territory and building/executing strategic business plans that drive business growth. You will foster meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), marketing, and other internal partners to support GSK’s mission to help Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in life sciences, business, healthcare, or a related field
  • 3+ years of customer-facing field sales or territory management experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related commercial environments
  • Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation, with a business-owner mindset and the ability to proactively identify and capitalize on business opportunities
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a field-based role while collaborating effectively across teams and building strong relationships to achieve shared business objectives
  • Experience leveraging data analysis and business insights to optimize territory performance and inform strategic decision-making
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a large geographic region, balance competing priorities, and optimize territory coverage
  • Exceptional active listening skills, with the ability to adapt communication and sales approaches to meet diverse customer needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively across multiple channels
  • Familiarity with omnichannel engagement platforms and CRM systems to support territory planning, personalize customer interactions, and enhance customer engagement
  • Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment by embracing change, continuous improvement, and new ways of working
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory

Nice To Haves

  • Previous pharmaceutical sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a highly competitive sales environment
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific research and clinical data in a compelling and compliant manner to support customer, patient, and business needs
  • Knowledge of/previous experience in the Halifax healthcare landscape

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory business plans and customer-specific sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales objectives within the assigned territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals to deliver tailored solutions and improve patient outcomes
  • Integrate product, clinical, and competitive knowledge into meaningful customer conversations to differentiate GSK products and inspire customer action
  • Use data and insights to inform decision-making and optimize territory activities and performance

  • Ensure all activities align with internal compliance and regulatory standards
