This role is part of the Channel Sales team at Nutanix, covering the region of TOLA (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana) or those within Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. The mission of the team is to foster and develop relationships with partners across the territory, driving revenue growth through collaboration and support. Team members are encouraged to be self-starters who contribute positively to a collaborative environment, ensuring that partners have the necessary resources to succeed with Nutanix technologies. This position reports to the Director of Channel Sales, who emphasizes a collaborative and supportive leadership style. This manager values team members who take initiative and replicate successful behaviors observed in high-performing colleagues. The work setup for this role is hybrid, with an expectation of being in the office two to three days a week when not traveling. As part of the Channel Sales North team at Nutanix, you can expect travel requirements of approximately 15 - 20%, allowing you to engage with partners in person and strengthen our relationships across the region.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in partner management.
  • A strong understanding of the sales process and Channel Sales.
  • Proven ability to develop and support a partner region.
  • Experience in presenting, training, and enabling new partners.
  • High energy and a self-starter attitude with exceptional motivation.
  • Ability to work collectively with employees within the sales function and across functions including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, and Product Development.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to analyze market dynamics and identify business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Nutanix partners, including developing relationships with both managed and unmanaged partners.
  • Conduct regional analysis to identify top partners and potential new partnership opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Nutanix sales teams to align partner support with overall sales strategies.
  • Provide training and enablement for partners on Nutanix technology to enhance their business growth.
  • Regularly report on partner performance and growth opportunities within the designated region.
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue through effective partner development and support.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting a high-energy team culture focused on motivation and drive.
  • Achieve first-year objectives such as onboarding key partners, establishing robust support frameworks, and meeting revenue targets for the region.
