The Territory Business Manager (TBM) is a customer-facing sales role representing Apellis to key retina specialists and institutions within a defined geography. The primary goal is to build trust in Apellis, its values, its science, and its product. The TBM will be responsible for understanding retina accounts, developing effective account plans that address the needs of external stakeholders (physicians, techs, office staff, administration, billing, reimbursement, etc.), and creating and implementing geographic business plans in collaboration with other customer-facing teams. The role involves providing disease state education, identifying treatment patterns, mapping referral networks, selling with science, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders while adhering to all compliance and regulatory requirements.
