About The Position
Responsible for overseeing the construction, maintenance, and repair of terrain park features while managing assigned administrative functions. Works closely with other departments and leadership to ensure that maintenance and projects are completed safely and deadlines are met. Provides leadership in planning, and resource allocation, while fostering a culture of safety. This position is located at Bear Mountain in Big Bear Lake.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years old
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to prioritize and work with limited supervision
- Able to exhibit sound judgment and maintain a positive attitude
- Able to ski or snowboard safely while carrying objects up to 50lbs (Ex. rakes, shovels, signs)
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to collaborate with others in management
- Able to work during adverse weather conditions and on challenging terrain with a variety of equipment used to build features
- Must have completed Pro Academy
- Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without accommodation
