About The Position

The Terrain Park Attendant helps create and maintain a safe, fun, and well-groomed environment for skiers and snowboarders in the terrain park. This role involves setting up and inspecting features, monitoring guest activity, providing assistance or guidance, and ensuring park conditions meet safety and quality standards. Attendants also interact with guests to promote responsible park use and enhance the overall mountain experience.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to pass a MVR check to company standards.
  • Must be an advanced level skier or snowboarder.
  • Must be able to ski/ride with tools or equipment.
  • Must be able to use hand tools such as rakes, shovels, drills etc.
  • Must be able to problem solve and quickly adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with the Terrain Park Manager, Supervisor and Leads to create a world class on hill product.
  • Assist with all feature construction projects, special event builds and maintenance of terrain parks, half pipes and terrain based teaching areas.
  • Responsible for opening and closing the Terrain Parks daily.
  • Responsible for maintaining every feature in the Terrain Park using a rake and shovel.
  • Installing and maintaining park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing etc.
  • Talk to terrain park users and educate them on the proper etiquette and park safety.
  • Ensure proper branding within the terrain parks in accordance to the given guidelines.
  • Operate a snowmobile and transport equipment to parks and pipes when/where needed.
  • Report accidents to patrol and assist when needed.
  • Maintain and repair terrain park equipment and maintain cleanliness of equipment storage areas.
  • Interact with park/pipe users and solicit feedback.
  • Open or close features depending on conditions.
  • Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment for self, coworkers, and guests.

  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required by resort operations.
