About The Position

The Tennis Court Maintenance position provides general maintenance to tennis courts. The employee also assists guests with duties and programs, including socials, programming, and pro shop operations. Work includes daily court preparation and upkeep, periodic surface repairs and resurfacing, and routine cleaning tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 6 months of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Regularly walk while performing job duties.
• Occasionally stand, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with socials, programming, and pro shop operations.
• Prepare courts daily by rolling, lining, and watering them.
• Perform periodic special projects and repairs to court surfaces and lines, including scraping dead clay and reapplying new clay.
• Resurface soft courts twice a year.
• Remove debris from courts as needed.
• Clean and change water coolers daily.
• Remove trash.
