About The Position

Provide in-person administrative support to assist with scanning and archiving files. These files may be highly confidential in nature and need to be filed correctly and appropriately. Work with a variety of areas and people. Must be able to do basic manipulation of scanned files in Adobe (rotating pages, re-ordering and removing etc.)

Requirements

  • A high school diploma and two years work experience that is directly related to the area of employment.
  • A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate scanners to convert physical documents into digital format and ensure files are scanned completely and clearly with proper naming conventions.
  • Sort, review, and prepare physical files for scanning. Remove staples, separate documents, and arrange for optimal scanning.
  • Use Adobe Acrobat to manipulate scanned files (e.g., rotate, delete blank pages, reorder). Review scanned files for accuracy and completeness before archiving.
  • Save and organize scanned files into appropriate folders or archiving systems. Ensure secure storage of files in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Coordinate with team members and departments to clarify document handling needs. Maintain positive and professional interactions with staff.
