About The Position
This temporary research position supports a qualitative study focused on organic crop growers’ use of pest protective netting. The role involves developing interview questionnaires, conducting virtual interviews with growers, organizing and cleaning qualitative data, and performing thematic analysis. The individual will synthesize findings into clear, structured reports to support the research team’s objectives.
Requirements
- Relevant training in qualitative research methods (e.g., interviews, coding, thematic analysis)
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in farmer adoption research
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Rural Sociology, Sustainable Agriculture, or a related field
- Experience conducting interviews with farmers or agricultural stakeholders
