About The Position

The Firm is currently recruiting for a Temporary Records Clerk in our San Diego office to assist with closing and storing files. This position reports to the Legal Support Manager and is an in office position. These duties may be ongoing or adhoc in nature. Other duties as may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • General computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and FileTrail preferred.
  • Ability to plan and organize work, multitask and to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing 50 pounds or more.
  • Must also be able to use proper manual handling equipment including, but not limited to, dollies and carts.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and FileTrail preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve, update and prepare files for offsite storage.
  • Assist with inventorying, closing and transferring files to Iron Mountain from the records room, attorney offices, LAA workstations, as well as the copy and project rooms
