About The Position

Mahoney State Park is seeking hard-working and motivated individuals for security positions. The role involves responding to guest needs, which may include maintenance problems or housekeeping issues; assisting park staff with projects; and cleaning and setting up event spaces. Other duties may be assigned as needed. The position requires some knowledge of basic grounds work and maintenance, the ability to lift and move objects such as tables and chairs, independent time management, and the ability to work well with park staff and guests. Work hours are 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. A valid driver’s license is required.

Requirements

• At least three months of experience working in a recreational area, scenic attraction, hospitality, historical, retail or customer service setting, agricultural setting, or related coursework/training.
• Some knowledge of basic grounds work and maintenance.
• Ability to lift and move objects such as tables and chairs.
• Ability to manage time independently and work well with staff and guests in the park.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on guest needs, including maintenance problems or housekeeping issues.
• Help park staff with projects.
• Clean and set up event spaces.
• Perform other duties as needed.
