About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated Temporary Office Manager who will play a critical role in helping us cultivate a terrific employee experience through ensuring our office runs smoothly and reflects our brand and company culture. This role reports to the Chief People Officer. We’re looking for someone warm, patient, and kind with excellent communication and organization skills and an even better sense of humor. Requirements

  • 2 years of experience working in a support role in a fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to be patient, understanding and adaptable and are comfortable working in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency with the Google Suite, MS Office and experience using Slack
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and work on your feet from time to time

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment by ensuring the office reflects our brand and is tidy, clean and organized
  • Manage facility maintenance requests through building management portal
  • Greet all guests and visitors and ensure they have an excellent experience including administering our guest check-in system
  • Open and get the office ready at the beginning of the day and close each evening
  • Foster an environment of “how can I help?” through your words and actions
  • Provide support for company-wide meetings and office events including room reservations and set-up, arranging catering and audio-visual needs
  • Take charge of company food/beverage program that aligns with our employees’ needs and our budget, including restocking as needed for both SF HQ and NYC offices
  • Monitor and maintain the inventory of office supplies and equipment
  • Receive all incoming packages and mail for all Rothy’s staff and distribute
  • Prepare shipping labels for outgoing packages/mail and schedule pick-ups
  • Help maintain security for both SF HQ and NYC offices by following procedures and issuing fobs/keys when necessary
  • Support the People Team with candidates and new hires to ensure their experience is positive
