About The Position

The Lake County Fair Department is accepting applications for a Temporary Fair Crew Member. This role involves assisting with the setup and execution of the Lake County Fair, supporting Fair Managers, Superintendents, and participants. Duties range from physical labor like lifting, raking, painting, and basic carpentry to setting up sound systems and assisting during shows. The position requires excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the Fair Manager in setting up for the Lake County Fair.
• Assist Lake County Fair Superintendents and participants.
• Raking, painting, mowing, basic carpentry and repair.
• Preparing show rings, moving panels.
• Watering and weeding as needed on the grounds.
• Assist in planting and watering flowers.
• Assisting Superintendents and participants during the Fair.
• Set up sound system for shows and assist where needed during shows.
