About The Position

Burris Laboratory Schools is hiring a Temporary Classroom Aide to support K–12 students in academic and social skills development. This is a part-time position working up to 30 hours per week. The role includes one-on-one and small-group assistance, lunch supervision, and collaboration with administrators, faculty, parents, and students. The position starts August 10, 2026. Compensation is $14.00 per hour. Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work with K–12 students one-on-one to support academic and social skills development.
• Provide small-group assistance and instruction.
• Supervise students during lunch times.

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
