About The Position

Ascension is seeking a Temporary Change Management Readiness Specialist for their Change Enablement & Organizational Readiness department. This role will serve as a critical liaison between system office strategy and local market execution, ensuring Ministry-level decisions are effectively translated into market-specific actions. The specialist will lead engagement efforts, conduct change impact assessments, reinforce communication strategies, adapt training plans, provide hypercare and floor support during rollouts, and facilitate coordination between the system office, change leaders, and local teams. The position is located in Jacksonville, FL, with travel required to sites in those areas (up to 75%), and offers some remote work opportunities prior to go-live. The role is scheduled to end in December 2026.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3+ years of change management experience
  • 2–5 years of human resources experience
  • 2-5 years of Oracle experience
  • Proven experience working with various leadership levels within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional knowledge regarding training and implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a critical liaison between system office strategy and local market execution, ensuring that Ministry-level decisions are effectively translated into market-specific actions.

  • Reinforcing system office communication strategies to ensure clarity and awareness across all impacted groups.
  • Adapting system office training plans and materials to support the successful adoption of new systems and processes.

  • Facilitating coordination and bidirectional feedback between the system office, change leaders, and local teams to ensure consistent and timely deployment.
