About The Position

The Temp Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role supports a positive store culture and contributes to merchandising, store recovery, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. The position is at Marshalls Store 1628 in Deming, New Mexico, with a starting pay range of $13.50 to $14.00 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on factors including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities

Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
