Requirements

  • Experience within a banking or credit union environment, recent Teller experience experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to cross-sell and refer products and services effectively.
  • Ability to write and speak in an approachable yet professional manner.
  • Ability to understand and use various systems and software.
  • Must be available Monday through Saturday, with schedules varying between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturdays.
  • Willingness to undergo thorough background and credit checks.

Nice To Haves

  • Recent Teller experience is preferred.
  • Minimum two years of customer service and cash handling experience (for Member Service Rep. I)
  • Minimum six-months recent Teller experience (for Member Service Rep. II)
  • Minimum one year recent Teller experience and six-months of New Accounts experience (for Member Service Rep. III)
  • Minimum two years within the credit union/banking industry, including one year recent universal banker experience (for Member Service Rep. IV)
  • Universal banker will have expertise in the following; teller transactions, opening all types of accounts, AND experience with consumer loans and other complex banking services (for Member Service Rep. IV)

Responsibilities

  • Handle teller transactions and eventually learn to open new accounts with accuracy and a friendly demeanor.
  • Cross-sell products and services, helping members discover solutions that meet their financial needs.
  • Resolve any issues with a consultative approach that builds trust and long-term relationships.
