About The Position

The Teller works in a fast-paced, fun environment with opportunities for advancement. Tellers provide a variety of teller account services such as handling deposits, withdrawals, payments, greeting customers and maintaining accounts. The candidate should provide a professional image and be the face and voice of our company. Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED Certificate
  • Basic math skills, PC and typing skills, and the ability to count U.S. currency required
  • Basic 10-key skills.
  • Typing 25 wpm.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy required
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English. Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate and work well with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive manner
  • Look for sales and referral opportunities in a "needs based" selling environment
  • Must possess good judgment skills and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately, to analyze information and make decisions
  • Willingness to assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects as they arise
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Nice To Haves

  • Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner. The variety of transactions may be completed via the lobby, drive-thru, night-drop, mail, or ATM.
  • Balance daily work and assigned cash drawer, and research differences where applicable.
  • Actively listen to our customers, and communicate in a friendly, positive manner always, even in difficult situations. Demonstrate quality customer service by incorporating the Legendary Service Standards.
  • Recognize and interpret customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services ensuring recommendations are customer centric to meet the needs of the customer. Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services. Actively participate in the branch sales program and goal achievement.
  • Perform teller functions in accordance with established bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
