About The Position

The Teller provides friendly, professional, personalized service to credit union members and accurately handles money and member account transactions. The role works collaboratively with colleagues to resolve member inquiries promptly and efficiently, covers a variety of responsibilities when other tellers are away from their workstations, and works at the drive-up window as needed. The Teller promotes and cross-sells products and services to meet or exceed branch and company objectives.

Requirements

• Customer service skills are essential.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Sales acumen.
• Attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach.

Nice To Haves

• Prior teller or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately handle money and member account transactions with a sense of urgency.
• Collaborate with internal members to resolve member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
