About The Position

A Teller at Canandaigua National Bank is more than just someone who accepts deposits, cashes checks, and balances a cash drawer accurately and efficiently. Tellers provide quality customer service by being friendly and courteous, answering customer questions, and making recommendations based on the bank's competitive banking options to build long-lasting relationships. This role is also crucial for fraud and risk management, with Tellers receiving robust education on current regulations, bank policies, and procedures, and training to identify potential fraud.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or high school equivalency
• Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with a PC and associated programs (such as Microsoft Office)
• Strong customer service/sales experience
• Cash handling skills
