About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions and providing a welcoming, reliable experience. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through attentive service, care, and accuracy. The role involves learning about customers’ needs, introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connecting customers with bankers for more detailed product conversations. Tellers work closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent customer experience. The position provides exposure to retail banking and opportunities for career growth supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and team culture. The position is part-time and based at 9000 E Colfax Ave, Aurora, Colorado 80010. The schedule includes Saturdays. The listed base pay range is $20.00–$26.00. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process transactions across multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills, including the ability to understand needs, ask effective questions, and explain solutions clearly.
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and controls while maintaining accuracy and accountability.
Professional, integrity-driven approach focused on building trust through reliable service.
Ability to recognize potential risk, ask questions, and appropriately escalate concerns.
Ability to understand customer needs, identify referral and service opportunities, and educate customers about digital banking tools.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to deliver a positive, reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships, actively listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify customer needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to ensure timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify, escalate, and remediate issues as appropriate.
