Part Time Teller - Upper Darby Branch
About The Position
Sun East Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller for its Upper Darby, Pennsylvania branch. The Teller serves as a front-line representative, providing member service, processing routine transactions, helping members address financial needs, and identifying opportunities to share relevant products and services. The role includes maintaining and balancing a cash drawer and assisting with transactions involving the vault, CDMs, coin machines, and ATMs. The schedule is flexible within branch hours and requires working every Saturday. Saturday afternoons and evenings, as well as all Sundays, are free. Compensation is competitive and depends on experience. Requirements
- Customer service experience.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Sales and relationship-building ability.
- Ability to work a schedule flexible within branch hours and every Saturday.
- Candidates are subject to credit, criminal, employment, and education background checks, as well as a post-offer, pre-employment drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Prior banking and cash-handling experience.
- Sales experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet members, listen to their needs, and build relationships to help find solutions to their financial needs.
- Serve as a first point of contact for members processing transactions, solving problems, or seeking information about financial products.
- Process routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, checks, and loan payments.
- Use product knowledge and cross-sell financial products and services to address members’ current and future financial needs.
- Help process vault transactions, CDMs, coin machines, and ATMs.
- Maintain a cash drawer and ensure it balances at the end of each day.
- Project a positive image and provide service to members.
