About The Position

The applicant must be fluent in writing and speaking English and Spanish. The role involves assisting members with financial transactions daily, aiming to improve their lives by providing a Legendary Experience with accuracy and timeliness. It also requires gaining knowledge of all products and services to offer the best financial solutions for members' lives.

Requirements

• Fluent in writing and speaking English and Spanish.
• One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.
• A high school education or GED.
• Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
• Ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch.
• Must be good with detail to deal with numbers and names.
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time in one area.

• Fulfill the Teller Standards as required.
• Accurately post transactions, having fewer than 3 unresolved posting errors in a 30 day period.
• Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
• Proactively seek opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for the betterment of the member.
• Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
• Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and official checks to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
• Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Implement the Credit Union's member experience process by cross-selling the Credit Union's services, providing routine information and directing members to appropriate departments for specific information and services.
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
• Complete continuing education as needed with any and all assigned training.
• Responsible for scanning all appropriate work daily.
