Teller (Aina Haina Branch)
About The Position
First Hawaiian Bank currently has a great Teller opportunity at our Aina Haina branch that is robust with career growth and development opportunities. The pay range for this role is $18.00 - $21.50/hr., commensurate with experience; plus sales incentives. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Saturday on a rotational basis 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM (hours may vary). As the face of First Hawaiian Bank in our branches, you will provide exceptional customer service to our clients, process financial transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services. You will have the opportunity to serve a diverse group of customers, from individuals opening their first checking account to seasoned investors managing their wealth.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of experience in cash handling
- One year of experience in customer service
- Knowledge of the financial services industry (e.g. retail, mortgage/loans/deposits, and wholesale banking)
- Must be pleasant and tactful when interacting with customers
- Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to use judgement and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information
- Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
- Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations and balance cash with the assistance of a calculator
- Possesses sales skills to enhance business development opportunities
