As a Member Service Associate (Teller), you will serve as a valued liaison between members and our credit union enthusiastically supporting the credit union’s focus on member service. What You’ll Do Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional and friendly manner. Provide prompt, efficient, accurate, and caring service in the processing of transactions to gain member loyalty Complete a variety of transactions to serve members by receiving or paying out funds with a high degree of accuracy Assist members with account inquiries, account updating, and changes to accounts Open new accounts or service existing accounts Respond to members’ requests, problems, and complaints with the ability to work independently in seeking a resolution with the tools provided to you Balance cash drawer/cash machine at the end of shift. Research and resolve discrepancies, reporting discrepancies to supervisor.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in banking and/or customer service
  • Adaptability in high-traffic vs. low-traffic business flow of the branch
  • Basic computer skills
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction
  • Must be open to feedback and be coachable
  • Understand and practice empathy and patience
  • Strong communication skills, including listen actively and attentively

Responsibilities
