About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processes transactions, and provides a welcoming, reliable customer experience. The Teller serves as a primary point of contact, learns about customers’ needs, introduces helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connects customers with a banker for detailed product conversations. The role works closely with branch teammates to support smooth daily operations and consistent service, and offers foundational retail banking experience and opportunities for long-term career growth through Wells Fargo training, coaching, and team-based culture. The position is located at 301 E Main St, Seneca, SC 29678. The schedule will include Saturdays. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or an appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand customers’ everyday financial needs.
Connect customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations when appropriate.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable Wells Fargo policies, procedures, and risk and compliance requirements.
