About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network in a front-line, customer-focused role supporting everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller accurately processes transactions, provides a welcoming and reliable experience, and serves as a primary point of contact for customers. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping identify customer needs, introducing relevant products, services, and digital tools, and connecting customers with bankers for more detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support smooth daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The position offers exposure to retail banking and potential career growth supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is part-time and based at 11522 Eagle Dr, Mont Belvieu, Texas. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships by actively listening and connecting customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify customer needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
