About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the Lexington Main location. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processing transactions while delivering a welcoming and reliable experience. Tellers serve as a primary point of contact, represent the branch through strong service and attention to detail, and learn about customers’ needs in order to introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools or connect customers with the appropriate banker. The position provides exposure to retail banking and an opportunity to build foundational banking skills, supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The Teller works with branch teammates to keep daily operations running smoothly and provide a consistent customer experience. The schedule will include Saturdays. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand customers’ everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, ask questions to clarify needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues as appropriate.
