About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Teller for its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller accurately processes transactions while providing a welcoming and reliable experience, serving as a primary point of contact for customers and representing the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The Teller builds foundational banking skills by learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The role identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them with bankers for more detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an entry point to retail banking and longer-term career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Posting location: 425 W Oaklawn Rd, Pleasanton, TX 78064.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to deliver a positive and reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships, listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening to clarify needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues in a timely and effective manner.
