About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the Bell Road posting location in Montgomery, Alabama. This front-line, customer-focused role supports everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurate transactions, and welcoming, reliable service. The Teller is a primary point of contact who represents the branch through attention to detail and genuine care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping Tellers learn about customers’ needs and introduce useful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with a banker for detailed product discussions. They work with branch teammates to maintain daily operations and provide a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the role as an entry point to retail banking and potential long-term growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships by actively listening to everyday financial needs and connecting customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, use sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, ask questions to clarify customer needs, and provide straightforward solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable Wells Fargo policies, procedures, and risk and compliance requirements; proactively identify and escalate risks or issues.
