About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network in a front-line, customer-focused role. The Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions while delivering a welcoming and reliable experience. As a primary point of contact, the Teller represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role provides opportunities to build foundational banking skills, learn about customers’ needs, and introduce helpful products, services, and digital tools. The Teller identifies ways to support customers and connects them to the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. Working closely with branch teammates, the Teller helps keep daily operations running smoothly and delivers a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an entry point to retail banking and long-term career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The role is based at 1522 Highlands View Rd, Alpine, California 91901, and requires a schedule that includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to deliver a positive and reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand everyday financial needs, connecting customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, use active listening to clarify needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
