About The Position

Dime Commercial Bank is seeking a part-time Teller for its Madison Avenue Branch in Midtown Manhattan. The Teller will provide high-quality customer service and demonstrate proficiency in teller functions. This is a 30-hour-per-week position. The hourly wage range is $19 to $22; exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses or certifications, language needs, and location. Applicants must attach a recent resume.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Cash-handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, money orders, cash advances, and cashier’s checks.
• Complete monetary instrument logs.
• Establish and deepen customer relationships by identifying needs in support of bank development goals through referrals and Call Center service.
• Balance the teller drawer each day according to the bank’s teller cash difference standards.
• Support branch business development goals by referring customers to platform staff.
