About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network in Mason City, Iowa. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller processes transactions accurately and provides a welcoming, reliable experience as a primary point of contact for customers. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping Tellers learn about customers’ needs and introduce relevant products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with a banker for detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The position provides exposure to retail banking and potential for long-term career growth, supported by Wells Fargo training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is based at 10 N Washington Ave, Mason City, IA 50401. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process transactions and engage customers with care to deliver a positive, reliable branch experience.
Process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs; connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening to clarify needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable Wells Fargo risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
