About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the Fishtown location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completing transactions while delivering a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller is a primary customer contact and represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and care. The role builds foundational banking skills by helping identify customers’ needs and introducing relevant products, services, and digital tools. The Teller connects customers with bankers for detailed product conversations and works with branch teammates to support smooth daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the role as a starting point for retail banking career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is based at 1148 Frankford Ave Unit 2, Philadelphia, PA 19125. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, clarify customer needs, and provide straightforward solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues in a timely and effective manner.
