About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Teller for its National Branch Network. This front-line, customer-focused role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processing transactions and providing a welcoming, reliable experience. Tellers serve as a primary customer contact, build foundational banking skills, learn about customer needs, introduce relevant services and digital tools, and connect customers with bankers for more detailed product discussions. The role works closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and a consistent customer experience, with training and coaching supporting future growth and career mobility. The position is part-time and based at 604 Lindero Canyon Rd, Oak Park, CA 91377. The schedule will include Saturdays. The stated base pay range is $22.00–$27.50; employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships, listen to understand everyday financial needs, and connect customers with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, use active listening to clarify customer needs, and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; proactively identify and escalate issues and make sound risk decisions.
