About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network at 143 Union Blvd, Lakewood, Colorado. This customer-facing role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurate transaction processing, and welcoming, reliable service. Tellers are a primary point of contact for customers and represent the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role involves building foundational banking skills by learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. Tellers identify opportunities to support customers and connect them with the appropriate banker for detailed product discussions. They also work with branch teammates to support smooth daily operations and a consistent customer experience. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent experience demonstrated through work, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking methods, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships, listen to customers’ everyday financial needs, and connect them with relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately while exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly and listen actively to clarify customer needs and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate complex issues to support timely resolution.
