About The Position

Generations Bank is hiring a full-time, onsite Teller in Kimberling City, Missouri. The Teller builds and deepens relationships with consumer and business customers while providing professional, attentive service and helping meet their banking needs. The role processes a high volume of financial transactions, manages cash and supports vault operations, follows bank policies and federal regulations, maintains product knowledge, and performs administrative branch duties. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of customer service experience, the ability to meet the role’s physical and mental demands, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to bank locations if necessary.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One or more years of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Accurately process consumer and business transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and issuance of negotiable instruments.
Balance the cash drawer and assist with vault operations, including daily opening and closing, balancing currency and coin, and processing shipments.
Build and deepen customer relationships by providing exceptional service, resolving issues with initiative, and identifying opportunities to suggest relevant bank products and services.
Follow bank policies, procedures, and federal regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), to support branch safety, soundness, and audit readiness.
Maintain current knowledge of bank offerings, fees, and internal processes to provide accurate information and high-quality service.
Answer phones, direct callers, maintain files, and handle basic clerical tasks such as copying and faxing.
