About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Teller for its National Branch Network. This customer-focused, front-line role supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processing transactions and providing a welcoming, reliable experience. Tellers are a primary point of contact who represent the branch through attentive service, care, and attention to detail. The role provides foundational banking experience. Tellers learn about customers’ needs, introduce relevant products, services, and digital tools at a high level, and connect customers with bankers for more detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support daily operations and provide a consistent customer experience. Wells Fargo offers training, coaching, and a team-based culture to support career growth and mobility. The position is located at 19290 Freeport Ave, Elk River, Minnesota 55330. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. The stated base pay range is $23.00–$28.50; pay may vary based on performance, skills, experience, and work location, and employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to suitable banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships by listening to everyday financial needs and connecting customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercise sound judgment, and manage risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Clarify customer needs through communication and active listening, and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify and escalate issues and make sound risk decisions.
