About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Teller to join its National Branch Network. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller is a primary point of contact for customers and represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role involves learning customers’ needs, introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connecting customers with a banker for more detailed product conversations. Tellers work closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent customer experience. Wells Fargo describes this position as an entry point into retail banking, with training, coaching, and opportunities for long-term career growth and mobility. The schedule will include Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to follow policies, procedures, and controls while maintaining accuracy and accountability.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships by listening to understand everyday financial needs and connecting customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, using sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly and use active listening to clarify needs and provide simple solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues appropriately.
Work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
