About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This front-line, customer-focused role supports everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions. The Teller accurately processes transactions while providing a welcoming, reliable customer experience and representing the branch with strong service, attention to detail, and care. The Teller builds foundational banking skills by learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The role identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them with the appropriate banker for more detailed product conversations. The Teller works with branch teammates to support daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the role as a starting point for retail banking career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position requires a schedule that includes Saturdays and is not eligible for Visa sponsorship. The posting lists a base pay range of $23.00–$28.50; pay may vary based on factors including performance, skills, experience, and work location. Eligible employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand customers’ everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify customer needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk programs, Wells Fargo policies and procedures, and risk and compliance obligations; escalate and remediate issues as appropriate.
