About The Position

Planters Bank & Trust Company is seeking a Teller/CSR for their Tunica Branch. This role involves operating a Teller window to provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service, maintaining cash drawer security, and representing the bank professionally. The position also includes opening new accounts (Checking, Savings, CD’s, IRA’s), cross-selling bank products, and referring customers to appropriate staff. Additionally, the CSR aspect involves promoting positive customer relations, providing general office support, and answering/directing incoming calls professionally. All employees are expected to live core values, maintain confidentiality, deliver quality service, possess a team-oriented attitude, and develop a working knowledge of bank products.

Requirements

• Resume Required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic Accounting knowledge.
• 6 months of cash handling and balancing money transactions within prior four years.
• Communication skills in dealing with customers and employees.
• Satisfactory Credit Bureau and Background Check Report.

• Bank experience not required but strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Teller window by providing prompt, efficient and accurate customer service.
• Maintain security of a cash drawer.
• Represent the Bank in a courteous, professional manner alert to customer needs.
• Cross-sell bank products, and refer customers to the appropriate staff.
• Promote and maintain positive relations with all customers and potential customers.
• Open new accounts (Checking, Savings, CD’s, IRA’s).
• Establish a rapport with the customer for cross-selling other bank products.
• Provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.
• Answer all incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates in a professional and courteous manner.
