RN, Registered Nurse | Telephone Nurse Advisor
About The Position
Emplify Health by Gundersen is looking for a part-time (0.5 FTE) RN, Telephone Nurse Advisor. Gundersen Telephone Nurse Advisors provide callers from our community with professional and compassionate communication to enrich the patient experience. This role involves helping patients with diverse situations and requires skilled coordination of care. The position offers a potential to work remotely after meeting competency criteria, requiring residency in WI, IA, or MN and living within 2 hours of Onalaska, WI. The nurse advisor will use the nursing process to assess caller concerns using Schmitt-Thompson clinical protocols to assist in determining appropriate care recommendations or level of care.
Requirements
- 3 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
- RN licensure to work in the states of WI, MN, and IA required upon hire
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to work autonomously
Nice To Haves
- Telehealth experience preferred
