About The Position

The Telemetry Technician will monitor and evaluate real-time cardiac rhythms on telemetric devices to identify patterns, ensuring immediate awareness of any subtle changes in patient heart activity. This role involves identifying and documenting irregular rhythms or sudden changes in heartbeats, providing precise data tracking for accurate clinical decision-making. The technician will communicate critical changes immediately to the nursing and attending physician teams, serving as a vital early warning link for rapid patient intervention. Additionally, the technician will manage and maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and inventory, ensuring all lifesaving monitoring tools are fully operational and ready for patient use.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
