About The Position

This posting represents a per-diem, night shift opening for a Telemetry Technician - Telemetry Monitor Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. You will be scheduled 12-hour shifts from 7pm-7:30am and will include some weekend scheduling. The Tech-Monitor, under the supervision and delegation of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for monitoring, documenting, and reporting the ECG activity of patients on the telemetry unit. Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of a Medical terminology course or equivalent education/experience.
• Completion of a basic ECG course, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
