About The Position

Under general supervision, the Telemetry Technician monitors cardiac rhythms and pulse oximetry of patients to detect abnormal pattern variances via telemetry equipment. They are responsible for notifying nursing and/or medical personnel according to established procedures and performing clerical related duties as necessary. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum three months of previous healthcare or monitor tech experience.
  • Must pass initial and ongoing competencies.

Nice To Haves

  • EKG Certification
  • Experience monitoring rhythms of anywhere between 50-70 patients
  • Experience with Philips Monitoring System
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.
