About The Position
The ICU Telemetry Technician monitors cardiac rhythms of patients on telemetric equipment. Interprets basic cardiac rhythms, common dysrhythmias and monitor mechanical malfunctions. Perform specific clerical and reception functions under the direction of the Charge Nurse/Nurse Director. He/she requisitions supplies, equipment and services as directed. Under direct supervision, he/she will assist the licensed nursing staff, by answering call lights and reporting findings to licensed nursing staff.
Requirements
- Basic Arrhythmia certification
- Medical Terminology class or one (1) year experience in medical related field
