About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a 96-bed telemetry unit. The unit cares for patients with CHF, COPD, pneumonia (PNA), general surgical conditions, and medical telemetry needs, with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–6. The position is located at a facility in Seattle, Washington, and works 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Weekend work depends on unit needs, and holiday coverage is needed in 2026. RNs may be required to float within their scope. The required scrub color is navy for both tops and bottoms.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of telemetry nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• Washington State or Compact license.
• Strong clinical skills in monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with common titratable drips.
• Understanding of respiratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring and interpreting telemetry data.
• Titrate drips as required, including Heparin, blood, and IV fluids.
• Collaborate with monitor technicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in the unit-specific orientation, coordinated with the onboarding process over 3 shifts.
• Assist with additional responsibilities as needed, including occasional floating to different units.
